Bucharest Dialogues

Expert Knowledge, Prediction, Forecasting: A Social Sciences Perspective

The event took place over two days, November 20 and 21, 2010, in the Council Room of the Bucharest Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, being the fifth event in the "Bucharest Dialogues" series.
The workshop brought together some of the most important experts in forecasting studies and methodologies such as Scott Armstrong, Mark Blyth, Kesten Green. The support for discussions was the scholarly work in the field, the focus of discussions being probable actions and consequences in the educational and socio-human fields, public policy, the economic recession, the global warming, etc.
